them; and a �meline for mee�ng program objec�ves.

Specifically, the following cri�cal elements must be addressed:

Objec�ves that are measurable improvements in behavior, performance, process, or a tangible item that will result from your program. The objec�ves should not be just a list of

ac�vi�es needed to achieve the final goals but should be markers for how to measure the success of the proposal a�er implementa�on. Refer to the module resources on cra�ing

SMART goals for support.

Ethical and legal considera�ons, including a review of the four ethical principles (autonomy, nonmaleficence, beneficence, and jus�ce), ensuring appropriate social responsibility

of your proposal.

Financial considera�ons, including any poten�al financial impact your proposal will have for the organiza�on and an evalua�on of the required resources to implement and

sustain your proposal.

An�cipated issues-related outcomes and your plan to address them. Be sure to address the an�cipated effect on internal policy and opera�ons.

A �meline for mee�ng program objec�ves.

What to Submit

The dra� of your planning sec�on should be submi�ed as a 2- to 3-page Microso� Word document with double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins. Any

references should be cited in APA format. Use appropriate headings to iden�fy each cri�cal element.


