When interacting with a supervisor, it may be difficult to know how to act, what to expect—and
how much to expect in terms of mentorship and guidance. You do not need to enter a supervisory relationship shrouded in mystery. In fact, like many other aspects of the internship experience, the best route to clear expectations is to develop a plan. In this Assignment, you develop a supervision plan in order to be proactive and prepared for supervision.

To Prepare

· Review the Supervision Agenda from the Field Experience web site.

· Read the assigned text chapter.

· Review the resources provided this week about supervision.

· Reflect on the productive and positive aspects of supervision you have already witnessed at your internship site. How do those align with your readings or resource material?

· Reflect on productive and positive aspects of supervision that you have encountered in other professional settings.

· Consider how you can be proactive and collaborative to foster proactive and positive supervisions. Refer to the resources provided in the course this week.
