This week you will conduct research on the emerging trends of your industry or cybersecurity. While you may have practical knowledge of the field, this research should produce information that a manager would need to inform and shape strategic decisions. A manager would use information about emerging trends to inform planning and to shape the organization’s future. You will profit from this research because knowing the trends in your field will enable you to make informed decisions about your own employment options, or to take advantage of future job opportunities.
Your paper will be 5-7 pages, not including your cover page and References page(s), double-spaced and set up in APA standards. It does NOT require an Abstract and Table of Contents.
Your citations, both “in text” and in References list should be in accordance with the APA Style Manual 7th Edition.
Your paper should be organized will the following pattern:

References (note, there is no section # for References)

Please note:
1. You should write it as an author, NOT as the 1st person. For example, use “This paper will discuss ….”, instead of “I will discuss …”; “The analysis finds that …” instead of “I find that …”; etc.
2. Do not write the research paper as an Internet blog. The paper should describe/explain/demonstrate the facts. These words: “I love it“, “I like it“, “I think“, “Wonderful”, “so good“, …. are not appropriate in a research paper.
