Planning ahead helps reduce confusion and anxiety. This assignment will guide you in organizing your semester so you can manage your time effectively.

Instructions:

Choose a Planner:Use any calendar or planner you like. You may use your own, one of the templates provided (Word or PDF), or a digital tool. If using a paper planner, submit clear photos that show the full required time period.

Add Key Dates:

Review the College Academic CalendarLinks to an external site.

Add important dates (e.g., holidays, payment deadlines, last day to withdraw, finals) to your planner.

Add Course Deadlines:

Gather all your course syllabi (including classes from other schools if applicable).

Add due dates for exams, papers, quizzes, projects, etc.

Add your work schedule, appointments, and other commitments.

Plan When to Work on Tasks:

For each assignment, add “DO” dates—when you plan to start the work.

Break big assignments into smaller steps and assign due dates for each step.

Leave extra time for unexpected delays.

Submit Your Planner:

Upload your completed planner (file or clear photos). Make sure it’s easy to read and covers the full term.

  • If you are submitting several screenshots/pictures/files (more than 3 total), insert all of the photos on a Google Doc and then download the document as a PDF so all photos are easily viewable on one document.

Reminder: Keep a copy for yourself to use during the semester. You can always create a more detailed daily planner later.

Tip: Review the assignment rubric before starting and again before submitting to make sure you meet all requirements.
