Your textbook (2-5c) has urged us to recognize that full use of human potential should take advantage of the specialized skills of both cerebral hemispheres.  However, some experts have charged that our educational system tends to neglect one hemisphere or the other.

Do you agree that educational systems (you can use your specific educational system, please state what system you are using OR general facts regarding educational systems) discriminate?  Support your opinion with examples and facts.  What changes would you make in the educational systems?

If you disagree (we don’t discriminate), support your opinion with examples and facts.

***You will want to move outside the 2-5c section of the book to provide facts regarding parts of the brain, neurotransmission and hormones to deduct an answer.  Give your opinion regarding the given opinion (this can include examples from your personal experience), supported by facts used from the book (cite these facts).
