For each thread, students must support their assertions with at least 2 peer-reviewed journal articles in current APA format. The thread must include a reference list, andeach question/answer must be delineated under an APA heading. 

Read Chap. 5 in the Chopra text. Respond to each of the discussion questions at the end of the chapter. Each question must be answered thoroughly, and responses must be supported by the concepts introduced in the Learn materials. Provide a brief description of the concepts and the significance of the concepts to practice in general, as well as what problems might be resolved through successful implementation of the concepts.

Discussion Questions

1-How do the location and size of warehouses affect the performance of a firm such as Amazon? What factors should Amazon take into account when deciding where and how big its warehouses should be?

2-How do import duties and exchange rates affect the location decision in a supply chain?

3-How is a rise in transportation costs likely to affect global supply chain networks?
