Part I:

1. History of your topic: It is the history of your topic and not the history of accounting. It is the history of your specific unresolved accounting problem. This section must include the why and how the current accounting problem emerged. 

           This section must also include the why and how the interested stakeholders want this accounting problem addressed. Specify who you   

            know or think the stakeholders are as a group not as individuals.

       2.Discuss if these problems are actually new or if they are just modifications of older problems that continue. What current regulations, ethical issues, and/or laws exist to assist in the resolution of the problem?

WRITING REQUIREMENTS:

· The body of Part I should be at least 2 – 3 pages (not including cover page or references)

· The structure of the paper should be as follows: Keiser cover page, abstract, introduction, body of the paper with headings and subheadings throughout, references and then the appendices if you have any appendices.

· A minimum of 3 references: academic and professional journals, and/or appropriate authoritative references from the Keiser U. elibrary.

· All research papers must be submitted in APA format per University Policy.
