Do not upload Apple Pages documents. Please ensure that you upload the
correct file and that it opens correctly before uploading. Files that cannot be
opened will not count as on-time submissions (late penalty applies).
8. Your response must be between 300-500 words for full credit (submissions
above or below this word count will receive point deductions of increasing
amounts as the term progresses)
*Because we’ve gotten off schedule, I’ve included the adolescence prompts again if anyone
would like to respond to one of them for Week 8. My only request is that you don’t pick the same
one you covered for Week 7. You’re also welcome to attempt an emerging adult one if you are
so inclined, even though we will not end up covering that material this week.

● Prompt 1: Reflect on your adolescent identity development by
writing a letter of support to your adolescent self.
● Prompt 2: Pick an aspect of youth culture today. Describe it and
explain why it could promote and/or undermine healthy
adolescent development.
● Prompt 3: If you grew up multiracial or multicultural, how do
you think that affected your identity development during
adolescence?
● Prompt 4: How are you negotiating that whole
school-work-family balance?
