Review the performance methods and forms discussed in the textbook in Chapter 8 beginning with the How Do We Use Appraisal Methods and Forms? section. This includes the Critical-Incidents Method, Management by Objectives (MBO), Narrative Method or Form, Graphic Rating Scale Form, Behaviorally Anchored Rating Scale (BARS) Form, or Ranking Form.

In Chapter 6, Table 6.1 discusses Communication Ethics @ Work Mixing Business with Pleasure in relation to a high-profile television host, who made waves for an entirely different reason. In fact, in the years since that situation, there have been considerably more discussion on the ethics of mixing personal and business relationships among employers and employees. In a brief journal, propose a policy, rule, or strategy that your workplace should adapt to best manage the professional and personal relationship between a supervisor and an employee, along with two specific rules/strategies a supervisor should follow, and two that an employee should follow, to ensure professional relationships in the workplace.
