Presenting the Right Message

Effective communication is key to maintaining both internal and external relationships. It is also vital to health promotion, health education, awareness, and prevention. It is also important to determine the best method of communication for addressing each health issue and target population.

Respond to the following:

  • Discuss any responsibilities you have had or will have for communicating (written and/or oral) as well as any social media experience with this project internally or externally. If you have not had any communication responsibilities, then discuss what kind of information you would like to communicate about this project and to whom.

Write your initial response in approximately 300 words. Apply APA standards to citation of reference sources.

By the due date assigned post your response to this Discussion Area. Through the end of the week, review and comment on at  least two peers’ responses.

Evaluation Criteria:

  • Justified your answers with appropriate research and reasoning.

  • Commented on the postings of at least two peers.

  • Explained the communication plan and role of social media in the project. Discussed your role in written or oral communication as it relates to the project.
