  1. Visit PBS Art and Social Justice Projects at to an external site. and find a project that involves artistic expression and interests the group. 

SECOND:
After you have chosen a project, please analyze the project based on the guidelines posted below. You are expected to provide specific answers in connection with this week readings and/or video.

QUESTION 1- Describe what the project is about and explain how your project addresses an important issue of global significance.

QUESTION 3- Explain how your project engages the issue in a public way

QUESTION 4- Develop a creative statement describing how the project uses the symbols, images and/or forms of the project to meaningfully engage the people and ideas relevant to the project.

QUESTION 5 – How does this project relate to your weekly reading “Diversity in Visual Arts” and the two projects provided “Equal Justice Initiative through the Arts” and “Racial Justice Initiative through the Arts”. If there is no relationship, please explain why and justify your answers in connection to readings.
