Elder Law Assignment 2#1 Describe a situation that would require crisis intervention by an elder lawyer. In A new client contacts your firm for an initial consultation. They have never had an attorney before but feel they have reached an advanced age and now need one. The client specifically wants to know what the elder law process will entail as it relates to advance directives and what documents they will need to get started. In an effort to prepare for this initial consultation, your supervising attorney asks you to prepare a PowerPoint presentation that can be shown to clients identifying the most commonly used advanced directives. In the presentation, you should explain the basic elements of these advance directives and how they operate. Why is each of these documents important in their own way to an elder law client? Does a client need all of these documents? Why or why not? Prepare 12-15 substantive slides, with speaker’s notes, that your supervising attorney can use for these types of initial consultations. Be sure to cite your sources using the appropriate citation format.
