To prepare for this week’s discussion and assignment, review the five guiding principles from the “Guidelines for Selecting and Using Classroom Assessments’ section starting on page 2 of your textbook. Respond to the following:

· What are some of the considerations that you need to make when asked to come up with an assessment plan for your students? How could you use the 5 Guiding Principles to guide you in designing the assessment?

· Using the 5 guiding principles, compare and contrast three assessment techniques (multiple choice, true or false, essay writing, etc.), that could be used in your classroom to meet the specific learning goals for your students. These techniques will be used as part of your assignments in Weeks 3 and 6.
