In the world today, people have access to so much data. In health care, that data can be critical to enhance the treatment of patients or preventing diseases. Health informatics helps organize the management of health information. The use of technology like an electronic health record (EHR) and other systems can be used to manage and secure patient data. 

In what scenarios would you see health informatics being used? Review your experience with informatics. If you do not have experience with informatics, then interview someone who has. How do you see technology and informatics working together in the future?
