Module 7:
Assignment: Explore Caravaggio (Short Research)

For this assignment, you must conduct short research on Caravaggio’s artwork. Use reliable resources to complete the research and follow the following steps:

1. Select at least three of his paintings and study them.

2. Put together a presentation where you introduce Caravaggio’s style.

3. Talk about his themes, the use of light, and his subject matter using the three paintings as examples.

4. Select one painting from the other two styles of art discussed in the module and compare it with one of Caravaggio’s. What elements do they have in common or how do they differ?

5. Everything you write in your presentation must be in your own words. If you use any source, quote it in APA style. You need to use at least two academic sources from your AGMU library.

6. Submit it in a PowerPoint presentation. Half of the slide should have an image of a painting. The other half should have your text explaining.

7. The size of the letter on the presentation should be 16.

8. Your presentation should have a title and reference slide.

9. Avoid having too much text on the slides.
