your topic.

Your paragraph should begin with a main idea that states the two reasons you will discuss.  (The current situation for _________ is………..).

Include at least 3 facts from your sources somewhere in your paragraph.  Each reason should be supported by a fact.  Remember to use transition words.

The topic is suicide awareness which I will attach PowerPoint presentation that you did for me. Can you add on 5 slides with this that you did. Can you get his back to me in 13 hours? Please let me know because I must turn it tomorrow morning before 9:00 am.

Part B of PSA (PSA ATTACHED)

Start making some plans for your PSA video.  While you don’t have to use all of these plans in your final video, you need to do some brainstorming to prepare and get the ball rolling.

*Your video should be 50-65 seconds in length when it is finished.

**Your video will be submitted to Canvas.

***We will view videos during class time.

****You can see the rubric I will use for grading your video below.  This might help your brainstorming and planning.

Answer the following questions.

1. What is your topic?

2. Is your video going to be an awareness video (just telling people about why your topic is important) or a behavior change video (encouraging people to do something or stop doing something)?

3. What kind of mood or tone are you planning to use (funny, serious, etc.)?

4. Do you plan to appear in your video?  Will any people be in your video?

5. Will your video need a location or setting?

6. Will your video tell a story, be informative, or something else?

7. What are your ideas for the beginning, middle, and end of the video?  

8. Where do you plan to insert facts into the video?
