I’ve recently gotten a tattoo, and I want to make sure it stays looking fresh and vibrant for as long as possible. I know proper aftercare is crucial in the first few weeks, but I’m wondering what long-term steps people take to maintain the quality of their tattoos. For those of you with experience, how do you keep your tattoos looking like they did when you first got them?

Some of the advice I’ve heard includes moisturizing regularly, protecting it from the sun, and using gentle, fragrance-free soaps. I’ve also seen suggestions about using specific aftercare products, but I’m curious if there’s anything that really makes a difference in preserving the ink and preventing it from fading over time. Are there any other tips that you’ve found effective in  keeping your tattoo looking fresh? [ ]

I’d love to hear your routines or products you swear by for tattoo care. Feel free to share any insights!
