Review “Case: Revised training for the U.S. Navy” in Chapter 4 of the textbook, and respond to the prompts below. You are not required to answer the questions at the end of the case study in the textbook.

1. Summarize the case.

2. Examine the components of an effective training needs analysis (TNA) process.

3. Explain the basic parts for a successful training program. What type of evidence would be needed to determine the success of a training program?

4. Describe how the training should be delivered, and discuss who should deliver the training.

5. Examine two learning or motivational theories. Explain how the theories support and enhance this type of training to improve an organization’s performance.

Your case study should be at least three pages in length; double-spaced. Do not use the question-and-answer format. Include a coversheet, and write the paper in a full paper narrative using headings. You are required to use APA Style for this assignment. Your writing should be clear and concise.

Include at least two references, one of which must be from the CSU Online Library. All sources used, including the textbook, must be referenced and cited using APA format.
