This will be an interesting analysis in which you will learn to analyze how lodging facilities are rated officially and how they are rated based on consumer opinion and experience.

Guidelines

  • Choose two hotels of your choice: (1) limited service hotel and (2) an upscale or luxury hotel.
  • Go to a travel websites like Trip Advisor, Priceline, or wherever else you may find guest reviews and rating systems.
  • Learn about each of the selected properties and their amenities.
  • Analyze the guest reviews and rating they receive from the customer perspective.

In a one page document, write up your findings on the both hotels including name, type of hotel, amenities, reviews and customer ratings.
