Your week 8 paper will be a proposal for research. Use one of the topics listed in week 2 that you have not written about yet this term. Include an introduction, review of literature of 20 academic journal articles, a proposed methodology for your own research in the topic area where you see there is a hole in the body of knowledge. Think of your methodology section as an opportunity to show that you have researched the topic and see an area where more research would add to the literature. It could be a different population to be studied where you replicate another study. It could be something new entirely. Be thorough and complete. An A-level paper is one where your professor will be persuaded to approve your proposed area of study.

  1. Your paper must be at least 12 full pages long, not counting title page or reference pages.
  2. It should be thoroughly proofread and not contain any spelling or grammar errors.
  3. It should demonstrate to the best of your ability, the academic/scholarly writing skills presented in this class.
  4. It should use at least 20 different references.
  5. Remember to write like a graduate student in APA format.
