In the fast-paced business world of today it takes more than one thing to make a workplace decent and effective. This is shown in three helpful movies on different ways to talk to people.

In more than one way Dan Ariely says that drive is very important. To make workers happy and give them a sense of purpose bosses should talk about how important jobs are give workers chances to learn let them share chores and praise their hard work (Deterline, October).

Brooke Deterline stresses how important it is to be brave at work and make moral choices. A big part of good communication is making people feel safe and open about talking about moral issues and making sure that coming out against crime is valued.

The third movie talks about how important it is to share ideas and be unique (Deterline, October). It also talks about how important it is to support creativity and new ideas. Communication at work should encourage people to see things from different angles push them to try new things and come up with new ideas that work well for certain groups of people.

A few key things should be included in any plan for good speaking at work:

Being clear and honest: Make sure that everyone in the company knows the moral standards and work goals. This will help people get along with others and understand them better (Pink, 2009).

Giving your employees freedom means letting them make decisions about their work so they can learn and grow as professionals. These things will make them feel responsible and happy (Pink, 2009).

Appreciation and Recognition: Thank your employees for their contributions and achievements in non cash ways. This will make them feel like they are important and appreciated.

There is a lot of movies talks and other media out there that can teach people a lot about how to get along with others at work and how to be ethical. As Dan Ariely’s ideas show money is a driver but it’s not the only thing that makes people work hard. Instead making workers feel challenged in charge proud of their personality and able to do their best work can make them work better (Ariely et al., 2009). Managers who are good at their jobs tell their workers why the things they do are important and useful give them chances to learn and grow and reward them in ways other than money.

It’s important to be honest in business and it can be hard to deal with people who aren’t. Brooke Deterline’s talk shows this. People who are strong and serious are very important at work. Encouraging greater honesty in businesses requires giving employees the tools to speak out against unethical behavior and make moral decisions.

The third video also talks about how to help a business grow by getting people to think of new things. It talks about how important it is to design products or ideas that are special and appeal to certain groups of people (Deterline, 2012). To come up with new ideas and stand out in a crowded market it’s important to encourage creativity be open to different points of view and run planning meetings.

You can make teams that are driven honest and creative for your business by following these tips. For this to happen people need to be given important tasks pushed to make smart decisions rewarded for their wins in ways other than money and given easy ways to talk to each other and get feedback.

These ways of talking to each other inside your company can help your employees be more focused and get more done in today’s very competitive business world. Businesses can build a culture that values honesty innovation and teamwork by following these rules every day. This will help them stand out in the modern business world.
