In this learning module you had the opportunity to study some of the steps that schools take today to become increasingly unique. Clearly coming up with a unique university design involves establishing programming that is useful, wide reaching, yet still altogether unique and enticing—allowing for the levels of differentiation necessary to make a difference. In this discussion question describe how universities can go about the job today of creating a truly unique learning experience without creating routine offerings that simply don’t have the appeal to allow the university to stay in business.

Clearly high performing teams and the university leaders who are engaged and ready to work make all the difference. For this discussion question reflect on what you’ve learned in this unit and identify the steps that high performing universities can take to create these high performing teams and a climate or culture with a great degree of administrative engagement. What makes these kinds of universities unique and how indeed are they established?
