After discussing and potentially revising your thesis statement, it is time to outline your Research Paper. Do not underestimate the value of outlining! You need a plan for completing this paper! 

Pay attention to “Preparing a Formal Outline,” beginning on page 441 of your textbook, and prepare your own Formal Outline, following the format of the textbook’s sample and submit it. This will allow me the opportunity to see what each of you are doing with your Research Papers and offer any suggestions, insight, or help that I can to ensure you submit the best quality final draft possible!
