• Describe the exceptionality and the impact it has on a preschool aged child (3 to 6 years of age). The main focus of this paper is: the types of behavioral challenges, learning difficulties, physical challenges or limitations, and their impact on the child in the child care environment. • Explain whether the cause of the challenging behaviour is environmental, biological or both. • Describe how you would meet the needs of a child with this exceptionality in your classroom (Strategies). Use all sections of the guidance pyramid in your discussions. • Outline how you would modify snack/lunch time, sleep time, free play and circle time, to meet the needs of a child with this exceptionality.
